An internal Battery Management System (BMS) ensures uniform charging and discharging of all cells. It also provides short circuit, over current, and reverse polarity protection, offering a higher degree of safety compared to unprotected lead acid batteries. This protection prevents rapid discharge under short circuit conditions, reducing risks of fire and damage. Additionally, the BMS manages discharge limits and cut-off voltage to safeguard the internal cells.
